• 41 WHO NEEDS A HOME? Students consider the problems of homelessness and learn about the work of Shelter.
• 43 AT THE END OF A PHONE The work of the Samaritans, especially in connection with the problems of young people. Students also consider the qualities needed by volunteers for the Samaritans.

• 59 BECOMING A BETTER CITIZEN Students learn about three young people who have qualified for a Young Achievers Award. The page should help them to understand how collective effort can create better citizens.
