GCSE English Language Viewpoint Writing Techniques

Price: £25.00
Age Range: KS4

Designed for AQA GCSE English Language [8700] but applicable to most other boards. Where AQA talk about “writing to present a viewpoint”, you may be more familiar with the terms “writing to argue, persuade, or advise” (OCR), “non-fiction writing for purpose” (Eduqas/WJEC), “crafting a persuasive text” or “transactional writing” (Edexcel).

Individual coaching to help students master the specific viewpoint writing techniques needed for AQA GCSE English Language Paper 2 Question 5. The student app uses their own AI (e.g. ChatGPT) to draw out their writing skill through dialogue, analysis, feedback and encouragement.

Set one skill for homework, then follow up with in-class assessment using the teacher’s smartboard app. It is extremely simple to use - simply send the app to your students through email or your VLE, just like you would with any other file. No signup or password needed. Then the in-class assessment makes it cheat-proof.

The free sample includes the student app with two of the 30 writing techniques unlocked, and the full smartboard assessment app.
