I teach ESOL at a middle school. The resources proved extremely useful for my ESOL classes.

This is a really good resource - I like the fact that on every page there are pictorial explanations (sometimes humorous). These worksheets give students a good grounding on literacy terms such as pro-nouns, adverbs, apostrophes etc, which students often need a refresh on. I use these worksheets for students who are temporarily isolated from mainstream class.

Clear worksheets with instructions to the point and easily understood. Tables concise and clearly set out. Very pleased with them.

Chalkface worksheets are always clear, easy to understand and have an amount of student level humour and engaging cartoons to mix both the challenge of learning with the ever present need for fun! I teach on a one to one basis for home tuition and have found the Chalkface work sheets that I have both bought and downloaded invaluable.

After a quick look at the resources they seem to be ideal for my requirements. I really like the use of humour which strikes a cord with my yourger adult learners. The ability levels are spot on too. No doubt I will be back for more.

I teach all lower ability sets and have found this to be a very useful tool to use with my students. They enjoy the layout of the worksheets and can access the language fairly easily. The useful thing for me is that I can group the sheets according to the needs of my children. It's so much better than using a text book.
I like any resources which enable my students to think for themselves; these sheets certainly fit the bill! I have also shared them with colleagues who have the higher ability sets; they have used the sheets as homework material and have given me positive feedback about them. I would definitely recommend this resource unreservedly!

Good resources which get the basics across in a humourous manner.

I'm very happy with the produce. However, when I had a problem with downloading the pages and rang the contact phone number, the lady I spoke to was obviously out of her depth, rude and treated me as if I was a complete idiot - not a happy experience.
** [Response from Chalkface: I am really sorry you had a bad experience, and I take personal responsibility for not having ensured our telephone staff had adequate training. It is too late to fix your bad experience, but I will talk directly to the staff involved and ensure they get what they need to give future callers with this problem a better response than you got. This pack has allowed me to explain difficult areas far more clearly. Thanks.

The cartoons give added interest without distracting the pupils from the work to be done.

A superb and very user friendly pack which I have found most useful for my pupils as well as myself!
